Data Scientist – AI/ML

Join as a Data Scientist in Stanford Health Care's AI/ML team. You will collaborate with clinicians and researchers to develop and deploy AI solutions that improve patient outcomes, medical research, and administrative services.

• Build, deploy and maintain AI and ML enabled care workflows.
• Evaluate tools, platforms and strategies used by the Data Science group to manage model lifecycle.
• Train, develop and validate machine learning algorithms on hospital data with strong quality control and bias assessments.

• PhD/MS degree in statistics, informatics or related field.

• PhD:
  Experience preferred.
• MS Degree: 4+ years of related experience with applied problems.

• Ability to write code in SQL, R, or Python for processing large datasets in distributed cloud environments.
• Experience developing, evaluating, and implementing machine learning models.
• Experience working with clinicians and researchers across disciplines.
• Experience working in cloud environments or within a healthcare organization.
• Graduate-level understanding of machine learning, AI, statistics, and knowledge representation.
• Knowledge of software development, machine learning, and technology infrastructure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and creativity in problem solving.
