This role is offered by Assured, a company on a mission to modernize insurance and improve insurance claims processing. The position is full‑time and located in Mountain View, California.

About the roleYou will act as the bridge between customers, product, sales, and client engagement, translating business needs into clear, actionable data insights.
Responsibilities- Own requirements gathering, reporting alignment, and information flow across teams to ensure analytics directly support strategic goals.
- Surface patterns and gaps in customer data and drive investigations to resolution.
- Serve as the customer‑facing voice of Product Analytics, joining key client or partner calls and turning feedback into measurable requirements.
- Partner with analysts to deliver dashboards, reports, and metrics that answer priority business questions.
- Lead self‑initiated research on customer behavior, trends, pilots, and POCs to inform product and business strategy.
- Support customer‑facing data initiatives (e.g., engagement portals, report delivery) and communicate insights clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- Collaborate seamlessly within the Product Analytics team to ensure consistent, high‑quality outputs.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Analytics, or other data‑driven roles.
- Track record of gathering and documenting business and reporting requirements across internal and external stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of reporting frameworks, dashboards, and data delivery.
- Comfort operating in evolving technical environments, adapting quickly when systems or data structures are not fully built out.
- High bar for clarity, quality, and outcomes.
- Ability to move seamlessly between strategic discussions and hands‑on analysis.
- Crisp, confident communication skills, especially when engaging with executives.
- Instincts of a translator and connector who listens, probes, and drives clarity.
- Intellectual curiosity: care about the why, not just the what.
- Join stakeholder calls to uncover data or reporting gaps, translating business needs into measurable analytics requirements.
- Map out existing reporting workflows and identify opportunities to standardize definitions, improve delivery, or surface new insights.
- Investigate a customer trend or pattern, trace underlying data signals, and propose a plan to close visibility gaps.
- Partner with Product Analysts to turn a vague customer request into a structured dashboard or metric framework that drives real action.
- Tighten feedback loops between Product, Sales, and Analytics, making it easier for insights to move from the customer conversation to the product roadmap.
