About Nclusion
Nclusion is on a mission to bring traditional financial services to the 1.5 billion people worldwide who currently lack access. Without a secure way to save, invest, or transfer money, individuals are excluded from wealth-building opportunities. We’re building the infrastructure to change that—bridging the gap between underserved communities and the tools they need to thrive.
We’re combining the reliability of traditional banking with the speed, flexibility, and reach of modern financial technology. Our team is focused and relentlessly mission-driven, backed by global experience in fintech, payments, and blockchain.
About the RoleAs a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in building the core systems that power our custodial stable coins, remittance flows, savings tools, and lottery products. You’ll work across backend infrastructure and APIs—with opportunities to contribute to smart contract development and fullstack features based on your interests.
This is an opportunity to join at the ground floor of a high-impact company and help define both the technical architecture and the engineering culture. You’ll collaborate directly with the founding team and have significant ownership over what we build and how we build it.
If you enjoy solving hard, meaningful problems, thrive in ambiguity, and want your code to improve lives globally, we’d love to talk.
What You’ll Do- Design and implement core custodial systems and APIs – Support mint/burn flows, balance tracking, and secure transaction processing
- Drive infrastructure decisions – Help ensure our systems are reliable, auditable, and scalable across regions
- Deliver systems with real-world impact – Your work will directly influence how underbanked communities access essential financial tools
- (Optional) Work across the stack – Depending on your interests, jump into smart contract logic (Rust, Move) or frontend (React/React Native)
- Have experience building robust backend services – You’ve owned APIs, systems design, and production deployments
- Can take ownership of a system from whiteboard to deployment – and care about quality along the way
- Have comfort with ambiguity – You’re energized by solving novel problems in underdefined environments
- Are interested in blockchain and financial systems – Even if you haven’t written smart contracts yet, you’re curious and quick to learn
- Are proficient in Node.js, Go, Python, Rust, or similar backend languages.
- Experience with smart contract development (e.g., Move, Solidity, or Rust)
- Exposure to fullstack development (especially React or React Native)
- Previous experience in fintech, crypto, or high-trust systems.
- Make a global impact. Your work will help people access essential financial tools for the first time.
- Shape the product. As an early engineer, your input will influence everything from architecture to roadmap.
- Grow with us. We’re just getting started—and you’ll grow as we do.
