Overview
Section Partners is seeking an experienced
Human Resources Generalist to join our team andmanage the full employee lifecycle. The individual will maintain strong people processes across our firm and work closely with leadership and employees to ensure a positive employee experience, operational excellence, and compliance with employment laws and best practices. This position is ideal for a professional who can balance competing demands and brings proactivity, sound judgment, discretion, and solid execution skills.
The position requires a minimum of5+ years of relevant HR experience
in a similar role.
The individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all HR and administrative needs and manage the employee performance review cycles. Additional HR-related responsibilities include recruiting, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
This is an on-site role (it is not a hybrid position). Our team works in the office in Palo Alto, California most weekdays. Compensation will consist of a base salary and a performance-based bonus.

Please note:
we are seeking experienced candidates with at least 5 years of work experience who can begin working full time with us as soon as possible.
- Manage all HR operations and people-focused initiatives
- Support and resolve employee relations matters
- Maintain confidential employee files and audits in compliance with federal, state & local employment laws
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate data management
- Work closely with our PEO for benefits enrollments and employee inquiries
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Lead all recruiting efforts
- Facilitate end-to-end performance review cycles
- Manage new hire training initiatives and employee courses
- Lead administrative functions and general office needs
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
- Collaborative, service-oriented attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite and HRIS platforms
- Authorized to work permanently in the U.S.
