Recruiter (Temp-to-Perm)
Position SummarySciton is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Recruiter to support our Talent Acquisition team during a period of high-volume hiring. This is a 3-month temp-to-perm opportunity supporting direct-hire positions across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong recruiting coordination experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys partnering closely with hiring leaders.
This role will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring leaders, including phone, virtual, and onsite interviews
- Review incoming applications and resumes, conduct initial pre-screen interviews, and share qualified candidates with hiring leaders
- Support high-volume recruiting efforts across multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates regarding interview logistics, next steps, and status updates
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to support end-to-end recruiting activities for direct-hire roles
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Assist with additional recruiting and administrative tasks as needed
- 2–4 years of experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination, or talent acquisition support
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant recruiting experience.
- Proven experience supporting high-volume hiring environments
- Experience supporting direct-hire recruiting (not temporary staffing only) preferred
- Experience coordinating interviews and managing multiple calendars
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting workflows
- Strong communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work full-time for the duration of the temporary assignment, with interest in potential permanent placement
This is a full-time, temporary (3-month) position paid on an hourly basis, with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. The hourly pay range for this position is $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. If converted to a permanent role, compensation will be adjusted to a market-competitive salary and benefits package at that time.
