What You Will Do- Novice level: work first three months under supervision, minimal supervision for months 3‑6, independent by month 6, and complete two services within one year (Adult Cardiology & Structural Heart; EP Device implant; Neuro Service; Vascular Service)
- Scrub assistance during procedures; prep balloon, stent deployment, valve crimping, and related tasks.
- Set modality parameters on fixed and mobile angiography equipment.
- Enter patient demographics in imaging equipment.
- Correctly archive images in Cardiac PACS and Radiology PACS.
- Basic understanding of imaging techniques, protocols and equipment functions.
- Operate ancillary equipment at basic level; enter demographics, usage, supplies, measurement, archival.
- Basic understanding of ancillary and cath angio equipment (Ekos, Angio Jet, FFR, Volcano, Rotablator, IABP, Impella, U/S, IVUS, Cathworks).
- Perform routine cleaning of procedural area and equipment.
- Stock assigned room with appropriate supplies.
- Basic knowledge of service‑specific supplies (wire, sheaths, catheters).
- Proficient in sterile technique.
- Verify and complete all documentation, including EPIC and Inventory systems.
- Associate's Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- One (1) year of radiologic work‑related experience
- Principles of radiation in imaging techniques
- Basic supplies for procedures
- Safety requirements for basic procedures
- Anatomy & physiology relating to performed procedures
- Procedure indications, disease processes, and treatment options
- Solid communication skills
- Recognize specific age needs of patients
- Build trusting and collaborative relationships with colleagues and patients
- Understand and apply principles of C‑I‑CARE to patients, visitors, physicians, and co‑workers
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 180 days
- CRT
- ARRT‑RTR – Reg Tech‑Radiography ARRT
- RTF – Rad Tech Fluoroscopy within 90 days

Base Pay Scale:
Generally starting at $73.34 – $82.58 per hour. The salary will be set based on internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
