Surgical Technician

Surgical Technicians complete assessments of patient needs to provide supportive care before, during, and after procedures. Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills, be able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be detail-oriented. Surgical Technicians are expected to maintain accurate and complete surgery records and exhibit teamwork characteristics in decision-making processes.

• Communicating with patients and determining medical problems
• Providing assistance as needed in the front office
• Cleaning and disinfecting surgery equipment
• Operating and troubleshooting surgery and patient monitoring equipment
• Assisting with inventory maintenance
• Ensuring informed consent papers are completed prior to administration of sedation
• Maintaining flexibility and performing other duties as required

Two years of experience in a surgery center preferred.
