Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between Fall 2026 through Spring 2028. Rivian's Internship Program requires active student enrollment. Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree
• Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics, AI, Machine Learning or similar.
• Must have experience with one or more of the following languages:
  Python, SQL, C++, MATLAB, Java, Kotlin.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
• Previous experience working within AI frameworks, highly preferred.
• Previous experience in machine learning research or project work is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and experience with frameworks such as Databricks MLflow, Tensor Flow or PyTorch.

Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $/HR for Palo Alto based applicants, $/HR for Irvine based applicants, and $25.00-$40.00/HR for Normal and Plymouth based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
