• Assemble and debug prototype drive unit assemblies
• Make and modify parts as necessary to support test rigs and prototypes
• Test prototypes
• Assess and document test results

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, ability to take things apart and back together without instructions
• Detail‑oriented with solid documentation and reporting skills, including Microsoft Office and computer software literacy
• Metal‑working and fabrication skills, knowledge of hand and power tools, pneumatic equipment
• Machine shop experience with basic shop tools and machines (manual mill, engine lathe, drill press, bandsaw, belt sanders, hand tools, etc.)
• Equivalent trade‑school or college courses pertaining to CNC and milling operations
• Knowledge of electrical hazards and precautionary measures around high‑voltage equipment and spinning machinery
• Ability to use basic electrical tools: digital multimeter, meg‑ohm tester, thermocouple meters
• Basic wiring knowledge, ability to connect sensors, power supplies, and data acquisition to test platforms
• Interest in electric motors and gear trains

$24.40 – $50.40 per hour + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay may vary with location and individual factors.
