These products are enabling hundreds of thousands of customers across the world to transition to sustainable energy, have resiliency to electrical grid disruptions, and save money. With our massive, distributed network of renewable energy systems, we use data collected from our Internet-connected energy systems to generate insights and find problems before the customer does.
The Tesla Energy Products team is looking to hire a Residential Product Engineer to effectively utilize fleet data and engineering fundamentals to monitor product performance, root cause design, process, or firmware failures in our fleet of renewable energy hardware. They will work with a cross-functional team of engineers to define and track product KPIs, troubleshoot and diagnose device issues, deploy necessary corrective actions ranging from firmware changes, manufacturing process or installation process changes, etc.
to prevent issues from re-occurring. This engineer will support the launch and ramp of next generation AC charging product and features that enable vehicle-to-home/grid power transfer.
