Prototype Vehicle Engineering Technician

Overview

Prototype Vehicle Engineering Technician role  Prototype Vehicles team is looking for an automotive technician that is motivated to advance their career and able to adapt to a fast-paced engineering development environment.

• General fleet maintenance and repair
• Retrofit/modify prototype vehicles to accept new hardware designs from engineering
• Diagnose and repair failures found with prototypes
• Provide failure analysis and design concerns back to engineering

• 3+ years’ experience working in automotive troubleshooting and repair (Technical certification from accredited automotive training institution preferred)
• Equipped with own tools
• Ability to operate and maintain shop tools and equipment as well as operate and maintain various hand and power tools
• Willing to work a flexible schedule as well as the ability to travel
• Work independently and/or collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Show attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities/schedules
• Excellent communication and written skills combined with Microsoft Office proficiency

$24.40 - $43.20/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
