Mechanical Engineer, All Levels at 1X

We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance.

Design, prototype, and deliver the electromechanical systems that let our Neo move, grasp, and last. From junior to staff, own subsystems end‑to‑end: concept → detail design → test → iterate → volume production.

• Design mechanical parts and electromechanical subsystems (frames, limbs, joints, power transmission systems, etc.)
• Perform structural FEA to reach optimum stiffness‑to‑weight ratio and achieve our fatigue life criteria
• Select and integrate motors, sensors, PCBAs, cabling, etc.
• DFx: manufacturability, assembly, cost, serviceability
• Build and break prototypes, iterate quickly

• BS/MS Mechanical Engineering
• CAD software fluency
• Strong fundamentals of structural mechanics
• Hands‑on prototyping skills
• Structural FEA and G&T experience
• Extensive bearing selection experience

• Robotics or consumer hardware volume production experience
• Ansys, injection molding, die casting, machining knowledge
