What You Will Be DoingFacilitating adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension. Creating personalized motivational experiences that engage students and foster a lifelong passion for reading. Reviewing student performance data to iteratively improve instructional methods and identify meaningful insights. Partnering with the technology team to assess and improve AI-powered literacy tools.

Literacy SpecialistKey Responsibilities
Cultivate a passion for reading in young learners.
Basic Requirements- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
- Capable of assessing reading proficiency, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independently of pre-written curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond effectively to student interactions within them
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
