OverviewThe Division of Critical Care in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Stanford University seeks a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine and Critical Care physician. The Division Chief will represent the department and its faculty in a multidisciplinary setting, oversee clinical care, operational strategy, education, faculty development, and scholarly efforts beyond a single intensive care unit’s clinical care and operational needs.
Responsibilities- Lead strategic operational, educational, and scholarly efforts for the Emergency Critical Care (ECC) Division.
- Represent the department and its faculty in multidisciplinary settings at Stanford Medicine.
- Oversee clinical care, operational strategy, education, faculty development, and research within the ECC Division.
- Foster a collaborative culture and engage with other participating departments.
- Board certification or equivalent in emergency medicine and critical care medicine.
- Demonstrated clinical excellence, leadership, and academic accomplishments in critical care medicine.
- Administrative, academic, and clinical practice management experience in critical care medicine.
- Track record of peer‑reviewed research and extramural funding.
- Commitment to the growth of the ECC academic program.

Professor: $389,000 - $404,000
