The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University seeks a candidate with a doctoral degree and are board certified/eligible in orthopaedic surgery specializing in orthopaedic pediatric surgery to join the Department as the Service Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Associate Professor, or Professor rank on the University Medical Line (UML) or in the Clinician Educator (CE) Line.
- Provide surgical and non-surgical care for orthopaedic patients and produce scholarly work in the candidate’s major areas of interest.
- Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Academic rank and line will be determined by qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
- Expected to contribute to clinical teaching, scholarly activity, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need.
- Doctoral degree and board certified/eligible in orthopaedic surgery, specializing in orthopaedic pediatric surgery.
- Eligible for a California Medical License.
- Ability to provide both surgical and non-surgical care for orthopaedic patients and to engage in scholarly work in the candidate’s major areas of interest.
The Expected Base Pay Range For This Position Is
Associate Professor or Clinical Associate Professor: $,000

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
