Job OverviewThe Division of Tri-Valley Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board-eligible or board-certified neurologist to join the Department as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line. The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Responsibilities- Provide care of general and subspecialty neurology patients.
- Teach medical students, residents, and clinical fellows.
- Work at Stanford Health Care Tri Valley (SHC‑Tri Valley) in Pleasanton, California, with opportunities to work at other clinical locations such as Emeryville and Palo Alto depending on candidate interests and clinical needs.
- Participate in research, quality improvement, and development of innovative care programs.
- MD or equivalent; board-certified or board-eligible (ABPN).
- Have or obtain a California medical license.
- Fellowship training or additional background in Comprehensive Neurology, Headache, and Memory Disorders.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching students, residents, and fellows.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments and disciplines.

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
