• Assist the project team in developing design and documentation through all phases of a project
• Work under a manager to identify design issues and offer original design solutions
• Apply creativity and critical thinking to design assignments
• Coordinate with project team, client, consultants, and contractors in a professional manner
• Able to intake and process RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings under supervision
• Research code and zoning requirements
• Collaborate with project team on presentation materials for client meetings
• Attend internal and client meetings and take thorough notes
• Take responsibility and ownership of their work and complete it in a timely manner

• 1-3 years of experience, not including internships, in custom single family residential
• B Arch or M Arch degree from a NAAB accredited architecture program
• Strong design skills and strong graphical ability with an ability to express ideas through hand sketching
• Fluent in several software programs including BIM (Archi
  
  CAD preferred, but not required)
• Good communicator and team player
• Takes ownership of own work and has the ability to manage up

During the first year of employment, we require employees to be in the office 5 days a week to encourage camaraderie and collaboration. After the first year, employees can choose to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
