Overview
Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Executive Assistant for a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting older adults and caregivers through inclusive programs and services. This is a full-time, hybrid role with a minimum of four days onsite each week, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Position OverviewThe Senior Executive Assistant provides high-level, strategic support to the Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team, serving as a trusted partner in advancing organizational priorities. This role plays a central coordination function across leadership, governance, and internal operations while ensuring clear communication and smooth workflow. The Senior Executive Assistant thrives in a collaborative, service-oriented environment that values discretion, inclusion, and proactive problem-solving.

- Provide proactive executive support, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparation of agendas, reports, and briefing materials
- Serve as a key liaison for board and committee operations, including meeting logistics, materials preparation, documentation, and follow-up
- Support executive and organizational communications with professionalism, clarity, and discretion
- Track strategic initiatives, action items, and special projects to ensure alignment and timely progress
- Manage confidential information and sensitive matters with sound judgment and integrity
- Coordinate cross-functional administrative and operational support, including technology onboarding and vendor coordination
- Demonstrated experience providing executive-level administrative support in complex or mission-driven organizations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting executive and governance materials
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and care
- Collaborative, relationship-oriented approach with the ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders
