Responsibilities
- Serve as the point person for maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, and shopping
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office lease
- Provide general support to visitors
- Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware, and travel arrangements)
- Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services
- Plan in-house or off-site activities such as parties, celebrations, and conferences
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position
- Temporary for an estimated 3 months, with potential to convert
- On-site in Palo Alto, CA Monday - Friday: 10 AM - 6:30PM/7 PM
- Scope of role: daily office management, expense reimbursements, office search coordination, and execution of employee events
- Have at least 1-3+ years of office support, administrative, and/or receptionist experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced corporate office environment, startup is preferred
- Experience supporting employees daily needs
- Keen eye for detail, strong attention to detail, and proactive
- $29.79 - $32.5 /hour Pay Rate
