📅 6+ Month Contract (High potential for extension)

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working with students, data, and administrative processes.

What You’ll Do

✨ Support prospective applicants by providing guidance on admissions and financial aid processes

✨ Serve as a subject matter expert on Stanford Law School programs and admissions procedures

✨ Process a high volume of admissions applications with strict attention to detail and confidentiality

✨ Receive, review, distribute, and respond to highly confidential documents and records

✨ Enter, update, validate, and maintain accurate data across electronic databases

✨ Review forms and application materials for completeness and accuracy; track files for follow-ups

✨ Maintain data integrity within law school databases and organize physical and digital files

✨ Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits from students, faculty, staff, and external partners

✨ Research and resolve routine admissions issues; escalate complex cases when needed

✨ Assist with Admitted Students Weekend and other recruitment and outreach events

✨ Contribute to general office administration and continuous process improvement initiatives

✨ Perform additional duties as assigned by the Associate Dean and Associate Director

What You Bring

🧠 Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

💼 Experience: 1+ year of relevant experience in admissions, student services, or office administration

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with People Soft and Oracle Financials
  • ✨ Strong data entry and document management skills with a high level of accuracy
  • 🤝 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-service focus
  • 🔒 Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • 📋 Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • ⚡ Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • 🔄 Flexible, adaptable, and able to shift priorities as needed
  • 📅 Willingness to take on a demanding workload during peak admissions cycles (November–May)
