Overview

Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Wing Hospital, is looking for inpatient Registered Nurses to join the Medicine Unit in Palmer, MA.

Note: The following outlines the department overview and general responsibilities.

• Care for adult medical-surgical patients admitted for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
• Support patient care when core Med-Surg units are at capacity, ensuring continuity of treatment and monitoring.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and provide post-operative and general medical care in alignment with established protocols.

• 36 hour, 7p-7a, Night Shifts
• Every over weekend and rotating holidays

• Minimum – Midpoint – Maximum pay ranges: $41.00 – $53.00 – $65.00 (base salaries across the health system; adjusted by experience and position)
• Sign on bonus eligible
• New Grad Nurses are encouraged to apply
• New Grad RN (0-1 year of RN Licensure): $41.00/hour
• Experienced RN (1+ years of RN Licensure): $42.66 – $65.00/hour
• Competitive shift differentials and allowance plans

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required
