Job Description
CoWorx Staffing is hiring 2nd shift Set‑Up Operators for our client located in Palmer, MA.
We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals with a solid work history. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail and reliability are key.
Location: Palmer, Massachusetts
Shift: 3:30 pm - 12 am Monday‑Friday, OT may be requested and include weekend shifts.

Responsibilities- Set up and adjust machinery and equipment according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
- Operate and monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Conduct product inspections and tests to verify machine settings, safety and product quality.
- Complete first piece inspection paperwork to ensure set up conforms to product specifications.
- Meet daily production targets.
- Communicate quality issues or machinery needing maintenance attention.
- Provide technical input when requested or needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or issues to the supervisor.
- Document machine settings and production data accurately.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic skills knowledge in operation of machinery.
- Ability to use rulers, calipers, micrometers and other basic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple machines.
- Reliable attendance and strong communication skills.
