Provide supervision and services to adolescents in a detention setting who are awaiting court appearances. Support youth with mild to severe mental health issues, delivering therapeutic programs that incorporate restorative justice and promote accountability.

Mat-Su Youth Facility, 581 Outer Springer Loop, Palmer. 24-hour secure facility, shift work, holidays, weekends and occasional overtime.

In addition to the minimum qualifications, we seek candidates with the following competencies:

A high school diploma or GED. Must be 20 years of age or older.

Prior to initial appointment, candidates must undergo a background investigation, criminal record check, and medical examination.

• Copy of transcripts (unofficial accepted; include institution name/URL).
• Three professional references with names and phone numbers.
• Two (2) performance evaluations from previous employers, if available.

• Copy of current driver’s license.

Comprehensive background investigation including state and FBI fingerprint‑based check.

Complete supplemental questions within the application for evaluation.

Submit education credentials. For foreign education, provide evaluation from a recognized organization.

Document employer’s name, title, dates, and full/part‑time status. Flex‑staffed positions must reflect actual dates at each level.
