Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 3W Ortho unit in Palmer, Alaska.

The Registered Nurse (RN) on the 3W Ortho unit will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries and treatments. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing orthopedic procedures.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, symptoms, and diagnostic results.
• Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and post-operative care.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 1 year of experience in orthopedic nursing or a related field.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
