Position: Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist - PT - JO-2504-35594 at PediaStaff Palmer, AK

Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist - PT - JO- job mer, AK. Dynamic and growing pediatric outpatient therapy clinic is in search of an energetic and skilled physical therapist to join their team on a full-time basis. The Wasilla-Palmer area is located in the Mat-Su Valley, about 40 miles outside of Anchorage. This position would be a split between the Palmer and Wasilla offices.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with an all-pediatric caseload in a large, up-to-date facility.
  • Address development delays in gross motor and motor coordination.
  • Provide care for children in foster homes.
  • Assist with feeding and sensory integration therapies.
  • Travel between clinic locations as needed.
  • Possibly work in a telehealth format if required.
  • Evaluate patients, develop, and execute effective treatment plans.
  • Requirements:
  • Alaska license to practice as a PT or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with caregivers, guardians, and parents.
  • Willingness to travel between clinics and work in telehealth formats if necessary.
  • Previous pediatric experience preferred (fieldwork counts).
  • Doctorate Degree (or equivalent) in Physical Therapy.
  • Current state license or eligibility.
