As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail mall location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support guests and tenants with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail and mall location.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and service corridors to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, addressing disturbances, and coordinating with onsite management and/or local responders as needed.

+ Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual behavior, and assist with crowd and/or queue management during peak shopping hours and special events.

+ Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
