The Part‑time Retail Associate performs management‑assigned duties such as stocking, maintaining store sections, providing carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain assigned store sections and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure accurate pricing, check product date codes for proper rotation, and stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot.
• Assist customers with friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous service.
• Load customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.

• Read and write English; interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
