Target is a place where team members help families discover the joy of everyday life. This description reflects the Style Consultant role focused on strong operations, guest experience, and visual merchandising that inspires guests and supports easy self-discovery on the sales floor and in the fitting room.

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, inspirational and promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and to address guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Organize backroom operations to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes via clearance merchandising and signing execution.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service back to the sales floor.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up while complying with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs; thank guests for shopping with Target.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories

• Ability to communicate across devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed

• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb ladders
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely (lifting up to 15 pounds regularly; up to 44 pounds occasionally)
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties
• Mobility for the duration of a shift
