PURPOSE

The Food Server is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking all food and beverage orders, and delivering them in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Provide guests with accurate information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergens.
• Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business.
• Take and enter orders into POS system promptly and accurately.
• Serve food and drinks immediately according to specifications; replenish stock during the shift.
• Move furniture as directed by management (tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, equipment).
• Respond to guest concerns/complaints, resolve errors, and escalate to management when necessary.
• Comply with safety, health procedures, and state/federal liquor laws; maintain sanitation standards.
• Prepare guest checks through POS terminal; process payments by cash, card, venue comps, and other tender types; collect signatures and close checks promptly.
• Ensure proper cash handling and nightly/weekly opening/closing duties.
• Clean spills immediately and dispose of trash properly.
• Inform management of complaints, comments, or incidents.
• Record and report equipment failures or safety hazards to management immediately.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.

• High School Diploma preferred
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Valid Driver’s License
• 21+ years of age
• Possession of or ability to obtain state work cards
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience
• Experience with POS systems
• Familiarity with beer and spirits
• Proper lifting techniques
• Guest relations and sanitation and safety
• Safe alcohol service
• Full service restaurant operations
• Effective communication in English (verbal and written) with staff, clients, and the public
