Registered Nurse - FLOAT POOL, Full Time, Day

Opened in 2010, Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a 184‑bed acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA. It is part of the Southwest Healthcare network, which includes five hospitals and multiple ambulatory locations across Southern California. Provides and monitors safe, cost‑effective patient care in accordance with RN scope of practice and adherence to the organization’s nursing policy and procedures. Utilizes knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques. Floats to assigned areas as requested.

• Monitors patient vital signs and administers medications.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Documents patient care accurately and timely.
• Follows infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Provides direct care in varied units as needed (float).

• Two (2) years of RN experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; graduate of an accredited registered nursing program (A.A., Diploma, B.S.N. preferred).
• Written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• Current California RN license.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and IV experience required.
