LPN​/LVN – Emergency Night

Job Description: Palmdale Regional Medical Center is an 184‑bed acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA and part of the Universal Health Services system.

Under the direction of the Department Manager, Registered Nurse, and/or Charge Nurse, the Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care and is guided by the policies and procedures of the Nursing department and the hospital. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct and indirect nursing care of the critically ill patient. Follows the California Vocational Nurse Practice Act.

• 1‑year previous experience in an acute‑care hospital setting preferred.
• Graduate of an approved or accredited Vocational School of Nursing.
• Current Vocational Nurse licensure in the State of California.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) training for health care providers.
• CPI required within 30 days of hire.
