Associate Finance Manager
- Level 4
This position will report to the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) Program Finance team in Palmdale, CA or Marietta, GA supporting a team of analysts in a multitude of program finance functions; including establishing and managing program Performance Measurement Baselines (PMB), analysis and reconciliation of actual costs, development of Estimates at Complete (EAC), and conducting Earned Value analysis and reporting. The candidate will also oversee multiple financial cost analyses including cost allocation, controlling costs, and preparation of financial performance reports and contractual deliverables.
In addition, the candidate will provide support in career development, generate performance evaluations, provide ongoing feedback, monitor and provide training, and act as a mentor.
Interprets Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) as they apply to contracts, processes, practices and procedures. Interacts with federal regulatory agencies and internal personnel while investigating and resolving US and foreign government procurement regulatory compliance issues. Works to ensure continued approved status of major business processes and systems required to do business with the United States Government. May be required to negotiate rate agreements and impact of changes to disclosed practices.
Applies principles of accounting to analyze costs. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. May also be responsible for auditing/evaluating current policies, procedures and documentation for compliance with federal procurement regulations and/or operational requirements.

- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
- Familiarity with Systems, Applications, Products Software (SAP).
- Familiarity with Hyperion/Accounting Data Analysis and Reporting (ADAR).
- Familiarity with cost/reporting systems similar to Cobra and Empower.
- Experience in developing program baselines and Estimates at Completion.
- Experience in IRAD/internal funds reporting.
- Experience in international finance reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principals and guidelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
Secret. US Citizen required.

Pay and BenefitsPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position varies by location, from $90,200 – $159,045 in selected states to $103,700 – $179,860 in major metropolitan areas. Benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid Time Off, and Holidays. The position is incentive‑plan eligible.
