  • At Bank of America, we are guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection. We do this by driving Responsible Growth and delivering for our clients, teammates, communities, and shareholders every day.
  • Being a Great Place to Work is core to how we drive Responsible Growth. This includes our commitment to being an inclusive workplace, attracting and developing exceptional talent, supporting our teammates’ physical, emotional, and financial wellness, recognizing and rewarding performance, and how we make an impact in the communities we serve.
  • Bank of America is committed to an in‑office culture with specific requirements for office‑based attendance and flexibility for roles based on business needs.

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses, where you receive dedicated classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 exams. After obtaining licenses, you will learn foundational advisory skills—from acquiring, building and managing client relationships to guiding clients with advice and solutions for their financial lives, while humanizing financial interactions.

You will work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care, with the Academy providing development support.

Upon licensure success as a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you will typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, continuing to grow relationships within a client portfolio. The Academy offers programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and submit to the SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination.

Responsibilities
  • Build a successful career at Bank of America through training and on‑boarding programs.
  • Receive training and coaching from Academy managers to support your success.
  • Grow knowledge using a defined consultative approach with clients to identify needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Earn SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (63 & 65 accepted in lieu of 66) with structured study time; obtain SIE within 30 days of hire and Series 7 & 66 within 120 days.
  • Build your network by engaging with banking customers, small business owners, and higher‑net‑worth clients; leverage relationships to grow business.
  • Provide end‑to‑end comprehensive advice, conduct client reviews/presentations, and recommend strategies to meet financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
Required Qualifications
