Drafter

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Drafter (Level
2) to join our team. In this role, you will support engineering and design efforts by creating and maintaining detailed technical drawings and documentation. You will work closely with engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

• Develop and maintain system and sub-system drawing packages.
• Create, revise, and finalize detailed part, assembly, and installation drawings based on established layouts and references.
• Incorporate redlines and updates from engineering teams.
• Utilize computer-aided design tools such as CATIA, CAD, or CAM software.
• Complete detailed layouts in accordance with standard drafting practices.
• Prepare specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations.
• Suggest design modifications to improve product quality or manufacturing efficiency.

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of additional education and/or related experience.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5, NX, CADAM, CADEX, and GD&T.
• Strong communication skills.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) required at start.

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.

This is a Contract position based out of Palmdale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr.
