Skunk Works RF Antenna Engineer

Locked at Lockheed Martin, the long‑standing Skunk Works division has pioneered revolutionary aircraft and technologies for over eight decades. The team seeks a highly qualified RF Engineer who can contribute to the development of low‑observable (LO) antennas, RF systems, radomes, and LO hardware integration.

• Conduct research and development related to LO antennas, RF systems, radomes, and hardware integration.
• Provide technical support for internal research and development (IRAD) and contracted research and development (CRAD) projects.
• Drive technology development directions and help shape RF technology roadmaps.
• Perform system‑level radome and antenna performance roll‑up and verification.
• Design and test full or large‑scale fixture installations.
• Present concise findings to customers and engineering teams.
• Maintain written and verbal communication of concepts, developments, and trade‑study results.

• Strong background in electromagnetics and radar cross‑section (RCS) reduction for antennas and radomes.
• Proficiency in industry design and analysis tools such as HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, FEKO, and MATLAB.
• Experience in RF hardware prototyping and manufacturing.
• Hands‑on knowledge of radome/antenna/RF hardware integration on air vehicles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with internal and external customers.
• Experience leading teams, external customer interaction, and basic project‑management skills.
• Active Secret Clearance desired.
• U.S. citizenship required; position located at a facility requiring special access.
