Job Description

You will be a System Engineer - Level 2.

What You Will Be Doing:

This position is for the Integrated Logistics Support role in support of the U-2 sustainment contract. In this role, you will assist in all sustainment integration activities associated within the portfolio and across the U-2 enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Your overarching responsibilities supporting the U-2 Program will include:
Product Quality Deficiency Reports, Root Cause Corrective Actions, Material Improvement Projects and Review Board, vendor interfacing, report writing, CDRL delivery, dashboard maintenance, parts monitoring and tracking.

The scope of this position will also include researching field asset and repair postures, developing tableau dashboards, using repair and supply status for parts/material in ALMSS/CALMSS, SFM, SAP, and BLADE, and supporting forward operating locations. You will provide detailed briefs/sitreps for the Program Office and other program stakeholders. You will support requirements for implementation of support equipment, spares, repairs, Supplier coordination, and depot requirements.

You will also support the creation of internal and external program-level presentations to ensure statuses are communicated correctly and consistently.

Additionally, you will work closely within the ILS team to ensure comprehensive logistics, sustainment planning, and support requirements meet contractual obligations. Selected individual will actively support regularly scheduled meeting(s) with suppliers, work directly with items analysts, supply chain management (SCM), contracts, engineering, field service reps, supply, and customer representatives to ensure timely attention, tracking, status of items in repair and/or procurement.

Desired skills
  • Experience with aircraft platforms (i.e. U2, F-16, F-35, F-22)
  • Program/Project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR), Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) process, Logistics Support, Root Cause Corrective Actions
  • Experience coordinating and tracking issues through resolution and corrective action
  • Knowledge of USAF Sustainment, DOD System Acquisition, and Industry Partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little oversight/direction
  • Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Database management, SAP, SFM, BLADE experience.
