Senior Manufacturing Engineer

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and optimize manufacturing processes and procedures to drive operational excellence. You will leverage expertise in materials, tooling, and process flow to define build sequences and ensure product quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.

• Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes and build sequences based on a strong understanding of materials and fabrication techniques.
• Evaluate equipment and tool performance to verify efficiency, reliability, and alignment with production requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues related to tooling, process capability, and production inefficiencies through root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Collaborate with design engineering teams to provide feedback on design concepts and specifications, ensuring manufacturability and optimal use of available equipment and methods.
• Operate within a Model‑Based Engineering environment using platforms such as 3DX (3
  
  DEXPERIENCE) and iBASEt Solumina to develop digital work instructions and manage process documentation.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives to improve cycle time, cost, quality, and safety across manufacturing operations.
• Provide periodic off‑shift support as needed to sustain production and ensure continuity of operations.
• Travel periodically to other sites or vendors for technical support and integration activities.

• Technical Aptitude:
  Proven ability to rapidly understand new technologies, systems, and integration challenges.
• Hands‑On Expertise:
  Comfortable with hardware evaluation, troubleshooting, and subsystem‑level integration tasks.

• Experience with sub‑system assembly and integration into first‑article complete air vehicles.
• Background in aerospace hardware development, integration, and manufacturing environments.

• STEM degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Aircraft fuel and hydraulic systems.
• Wire harness and interconnect installation/integration.
• Development/prototype/first‑article program support.
• CNC machining working knowledge.
• 3DX/Catia V5 software usage, PLM and ERP software proficiency.
• Works effectively within cross‑functional teams and with external partners/suppliers.
• Direct ownership and support of specific manufacturing operations as well as interface with production employees.
• Secret Clearance.
