This position is with the historic Skunk Works in Palmdale, CA. We are looking for world-class talent for this position to join the 75+ year tradition of creating advanced aircraft. What You Will Be Doing:
• The candidate will have experience across the spectrum of systems engineering activities, ideally in a model-based environment.
• The candidate must be able to handle multiple and widely varying assignments simultaneously in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
• The candidate will generate, decompose, track and verify requirements, perform risk assessments, perform trade studies, write supplier specifications, support technical planning, and support integration and test activities.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently in addition to being a team player, successfully meet assigned deadlines, effectively communicate solutions to senior leaders and proactively elevate issues when necessary.

You are a detail-oriented and results-driven engineer with a strong background in systems engineering and test planning. Further Information About This Opportunity This position is located in Palmdale, CA.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree Experience in systems engineering or closely-related engineering discipline
Experience with requirements definition, tracking and/or verification Must be a US Citizen, must have a minimum final secret within last five years with ability to or in the process of obtaining a Top Secret SAR/SAP clearance
Desired
Skills:
Experience with digital engineering or model-based engineering
Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools Experience in developing processes, procedures, and other complex formal technical documentation Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements Experience developing a system architecture (or familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)) Experience working with vendors and subcontractors, overseeing contracted work. Previous integration and test experience
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years
