The Northrop Grumman Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) organization is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant 3/4 to join our team of qualified and diverse leaders in Palmd deze, CA or El Segundo, CA. The Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) organization within NGAS leverages a highly skilled team of over 300 employees to drive transformative innovations across key focus areas: digital manufacturing, additive manufacturing, fabrication and assembly, advanced composites, and automation.

AMT continuously seeks to advance Northrop Grumman’s capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the customer and achieve next‑generation readiness through cross‑disciplinary expertise and state‑of‑the‑art technologies. Reporting directly to the Director Manufacturing Systems Engineering, the Administrative Assistant provides a critical role in supporting both organizational and administrative requirements for the effective operations of AMT. This is an on‑site position with no remote or telework option.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to program leadership in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Manage, integrate and maintain multiple Outlook calendars that span multiple company and government IT systems.
  • Provide general support to visitors and customers.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and de‑conflict meetings, attend various technical meetings to document discussions and Nobason actions.
  • Ensure appropriate meeting preparations are made ( call‑in numbers, security coordination, catering requests, meeting materials available/printed as required, etc.) for both internal and external meetings.
  • Order and maintain office supply inventory.
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries to Senior Directors, Vice Presidents, and government customers.
  • Produce and edit sax correspondence and presentations; assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Independently coordinate and manage a variety of projects.
  • Schedule meeting agendas internally and externally as assigned; coordinate & reserve off‑site locations for large events, arrange catering & decorations, and manage all integration required for events.
  • Build successful working relationships with a diverse group of internal employees and external customers.
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms as required.
