Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Role
The Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating, booking, and managing group business that aligns with the Parker’s brand, culture, and revenue goals. This role is equal parts strategist, relationship-builder, and brand ambassador - owning the group sales process from first inquiry to signed contract (and everything in between).
You’ll work closely with revenue, marketing, and operations to ensure that every group not only meets budget but fits the Parker.
What You’ll Do- Proactively solicit and secure group business (corporate, incentive, social, and leisure) through outbound sales, partnerships, and networking.
- Respond to group RFPs with creativity, speed, and a strong sense of brand voice.
- Negotiate contracts and concessions while maximizing total revenue and profitability.
- Build long‑term relationships with meeting planners, travel advisors, and corporate decision‑makers.
- Conduct property tours that sell the experience, not just the square footage.
- Collaborate with revenue management to align pricing, dates, and demand strategy.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and pipelines in CRM systems.
- Stay curious about market trends, competitors, and what today’s group guests actually want.
- Represent the Parker at industry events, sales missions, and client engagements.
- A natural connector with a polished presence and a confident, warm communication style.
- Strategic and commercial - you understand that creativity and numbers go hand in hand.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities at once.
- A collaborative partner who enjoys working cross‑functionally.
- Unflappable, adaptable, and solution‑oriented - even when plans change (because they will).
- Passionate about hospitality, design, food, culture, and experiences that feel personal.
- 2+ years of group sales experience in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding group revenue goals.
- Strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of hotel financial metrics.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends for client events.
