Overview
Responsible for providing knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverages to our casino and hotel guests.
Responsibilities- Have a full working knowledge of the menu, specials, beverages and wine lists.
- Follows the correct sequence of service at all times.
- Clears, cleans, resets, and maintains station during shift.
- Assists other servers in giving the best possible service.
- Handles guests receipts according to internal controls.
- Assures F&B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards, as well as all applicable regulations.
- Remains up-to-date on property events and hours of operation for all F&B outlets. May be assigned to Food & Beverage work stations of the casino and/or hotel.
- Provide excellent guest service. Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
GAMING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Restaurant & 1-2 years of related experience in full-service dining preferred.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Working Conditions/Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs.
on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
