Summary
:
Thompson Palm Springs is recruiting a part‑time seasonal bartender to serve guests at Lola Rose, Grand Mezze. The hotel features 168 bungalow‑inspired rooms, 8,000 square feet of event space, dining concepts, retail, fitness center, tasting room, and more.
Responsibilities
:
Provide libations, offer customized recommendations, maintain an attractive bar, use latest mixology techniques, operate bar equipment, uphold sanitation standards, engage guests in casual conversation, and build on personal bartending experience.
Qualifications
:
- Previous experience working at a full‑service bar
- Experience at a fast‑paced, fine‑dining restaurant/bar setting preferred
- Thursday – Sunday AM availability required; open availability preferred
- Desire to satisfy guests in a fast‑paced environment
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Physical stamina to lift moderate weight and stand for long periods
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Team members must meet expectations and thrive in an environment demanding exceptional performance
Compensation
: $16.50 per hour. This is a non‑exempt hourly role; rates may vary based on experience and education.
