Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time remote Attorney or Paralegal position focused on providing legal assistance to clients dealing with tax-related matters. The primary responsibilities include offering legal advice, conducting research, handling tax settlements and negotiations, and managing cases involving labor and tax laws. The Attorney or Paralegal will work directly with clients (or owner on civil litigation matters) to advocate for favorable outcomes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Law, tax and/or HOA matters
  • Strong capabilities in providing sound and accurate Legal Advice
  • Proficiency in Research and AI software to draft, file, and support legal cases effectively and efficiently
  • Proven ability to negotiate favorable outcomes and manage disputes
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment (potential for in-person meetings, if location permits)
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active attorney license or Paralegal experience
  • Advanced law degree in Taxation or relevant experience in tax law is highly desirable, or experience with HOA governance matters
  • Familiarity with IRS and California FTB guidelines and processes, or CA Adams-Stirling / Mobile home Residency Law (MRL)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, especially legal drafting by AI.
