We are seeking a dynamic Minibar Attendant to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
Notify immediate supervisor about any hotel rooms that need to be placed out of order for maintenance concernsResponsible for checking the minibar in all rooms assigned and restocking items in all roomsTrack charges for items used and communicating the information to the supervisorMake sure the refrigerator and snack area are clean and stockedCheck items for the date of expiration and properly discard expired itemsReport and correct deficiencies noted in hotel rooms or public areas to the appropriate individualsEnsure your immediate supervisor knows where you are located in the hotel at all timesRestock the cart of itemsMaintain constant communication between all departmentsNotify immediate supervisor of stock shortages and/or malfunctioning equipmentPossess knowledge of all hotel services and amenitiesMaintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work areaAdhere to safety and sanitation regulations as instructed by OSHAAdhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructionsAttend relevant meetingsCore Competencies
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)Related experience in hospitality industry preferredStrong communication skillsCollaborative spiritEthical ConductPositive AttitudeEye for DetailProblem solving abilitiesCompensation & Benefits
