Position Details:

Patient Population: Obstetrics / Maternal
Setting: Hospital-based

Responsibilities:

• Delivery attendance
• OB triage
• Patient evaluation and management
• Surgical assists
• Fetal monitoring
• ER coverage
• Collaborate with MFM and Neonatology teams
• Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students

Required Procedures:

• Vaginal deliveries
• C-section assists
• OB emergency management
• Fetal monitoring

EMR System: Not specified

Support Staff:

• 2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24/7 (never solo coverage)
• Maternal-Fetal Medicine support
• Neonatology support
• Level III NICU team

Days Per Month: 7 8 shifts/month (full-time) or 5.5 shifts/month minimum
On-Call/Weekends: None (in-house coverage model)

Submission Requirements:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in OB/GYN
• California license (or willing to obtain)
• OB Hospitalist experience preferred
• Most recent NPDB Self Query (within 30 days)
• DEA (prior to start)
• Indicate full-time or part-time interest
• Indicate local residency or willingness to relocate
• Indicate visa requirement status
