Approximately 7.5 (full-time) or minimum 5.5 (part-time) 24-hour in-house shifts/monthAbout the Role:Join a thriving OB/GYN Hospitalist team at Desert Regional Medical Center, a 387-bed tertiary acute care facility and the only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella Valley. Our practice features 2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24/7, ensuring you're never alone on shift. Serve a growing community in a beautiful area where many choose to vacation and live.Key

Responsibilities: Attend deliveries and provide OB triage, patient evaluation, management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and ER coverage Collaborate with MFM specialists who round and consult on high-risk patients Manage care in a 30-bed community Level-III NICU supporting newborns 23 weeks and above Participate in teaching and mentorship opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical studentsPractice Highlights: Approximately 60 deliveries per month Affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology support Located in a scenic, vacation-like area outside Palm Springs city limits Full benefits package for eligible employeesQualifications: Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN CA medical license or eligibility to obtain OB Hospitalist experience preferred DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) Willingness to reside locally or relocate (discussed during interview)Compensation & Benefits: Hourly rate: $150/hr (full-time annualized at approx.
