This position is based out of Mecca, CA.

As a Project Engineer at Erickson-Hall Construction Co., you will grow your skills, knowledge, and learn best practices from an industry innovator that is also employee-owned.

• Prepare and manage submittals & RFIs
• Review incoming submittals prior to sending to the owner
• Update and maintain project baseline & weekly schedules
• Assist / Manage work plans, post plans, and pre-plan process
• Perform quantity take-offs, prepare proposals, process submittals, and requests for information, participate in project safety
• Interpret engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings
• Understand construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, reporting, online collaboration, scheduling, and estimating
• Create or assist in weekly meeting agendas
• Assist / Manage work plans, post plans, and pre-plan processes
• Assist in managing environmental permits and regulations
• Project document control

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant field, or Construction Management Certification
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history
• Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Bluebeam preferred
