Server Assistant

Base pay range $p14.00/hr - $14.00/hr Position Objective Assists the Servers in the service of food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic professional and timely manner. Essential Job Functions

• Assists in the table cleaning and setting of tables.
• Runs food from the kitchen to guests’ table.
• Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant in all areas.
• Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.
• Responsible to comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, including any department specific training regarding equipment and procedures.

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the Resort.

• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess basic computational ability.

• Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems; however, must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F), possibly for one hour or more.
• Must be able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for several hours.
• Must be able to exert well‑paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.

• Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with customers and accept constructive criticism from supervisors.
• Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
