Overview:

Our client, a leading public accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in public accounting, a degree in Accounting or related field, and be either a CPA or CPA candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to advance their career in an engaging and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns

+ Conduct tax research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws

+ Identify tax planning opportunities and provide recommendations to clients

+ Assist with tax projections and estimated payments

+ Gather and analyze financial information from clients

+ Communicate directly with clients to resolve tax issues and respond to inquiries

+ Collaborate effectively with colleagues and leadership on client engagements

+ Support audit teams as needed during tax-related aspects of assurance projects

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting required

+ CPA license or CPA candidate required

+ Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

+ Commitment to providing outstanding client service
