As a Residential Canvassing Team Lead, you will oversee and support a team of residential canvassing representatives in assigned marketing territories. You will lead daily field efforts, drive lead-generation performance, and actively develop your team to achieve and exceed their goals.
Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and manage a team of residential canvassing representatives.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement effective canvassing sales strategies to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to set ambitious but achievable sales goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the industry.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and objection handling.
- Ensure that team members are well-equipped to represent the company professionally and effectively.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure individual and team success.
- Foster positive relationships with customers and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all canvassing sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and implement best practices.
- Generate regular reports on team performance, sales metrics, and market trends.
- Present findings and recommendations to upper management.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 1yr of Door-to-Door Sales Experience
- At least 1yr of Supervisory/Leadership Experience
- Prior Experience with in the Construction or Home improvement Industry is a Plus
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Results-driven and goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Reliable Transportation for Commuting to Various Locations in the Area
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
